As a Junior Mati shot numerous Essex county records, also shooting a National Record for 40m in a Metric II Equipment: Yellow/Red Winact bow, 32lbs, the same tab & sight, Spigarelli button and longrod with Cartel doinker, bottom weights from KG, Beiter clicker, fastflight string and an old arrow rest that the ex gave to her! Other info: Has a tendancy to break Win&Win arrow rests and REFUSES to give into the constant hounding by Ian to get twins! As a pharmacy student she knows how to make any drug you can think of... We assume she doesnt actually make any though! |

Rob lazy git! Archery History: Rob started archery at the age of 14, and proved quite good at it. He managed to blag himself on to the Essex Junior Team on a number of occasions, despite shooting 80yds and thus being a liability to the team, especially against Kent (whose team all seemed to be under the age of 12 at one point). However, Rob still won numerous medals at club and county level and ventured out of county to win a few more. Then he met Mati, and his scores plummetted. Well ok, they started going down before that, but he could blame it on someone other than himself. Rob then spent the next couple of years in archery ambiguity, ie working on good technique, but failing miserably to record scores meriting that technique. He also left his original club and is a founding member of his current first name club,.Black Stag Archers. This summer, things changed. After continuing support and encouragement from his coach, and egotistical amounts of perseverance and confidence, years of hard work began to pay off. He came 8th at the 2001 BUSA outdoors at Lilleshall, giving a few people a scare, and beat the Master Jelly fish in a H2H at KPG after being 5 points down after the 1st end. Later during the summer, he gained more awards (+ medals), and his ''l'Il get my 1100 by the end of the year, no Mati, I WILL". 1100 FITA star. Congrats!! |

Chris B Archery History: Chris has been shooting for just over two years after taking it up in his third year at Edinburgh Uni. At his first BUSA champs, Chris won Third Gent Novice, scoring 510, as well as a place in the 1st Novice Team that still holds the BUSA record. The same team also holds the SUSF indoor and BUSA outdoor records. In his second year of shooting, Chris won the first "SUSF improver of the year" medal. Equipment: Gun-metal Yamaha Eolla and Border Limbs, Spigarelli sight, stabilisers, and arrow rest, Cavalier tab and Carbon Tech Sportster arrows with Kurly Vanes Other Info: The aforementioned success at novice level and subsequent improver medal seem to mask the fact that Chris is just a little bit crap, and better suited to getting drunk, as testified by his long-standing affiliation to the Edinburgh University Water of Life Society. Chris will happily bore you to tears with his pretentious and hastily made-up opinions about whisky |
